We are open to volunteers and run seasonal group volunteer opportunities focused on particular skills and tasks.
As a WWOOFer, you will participate in the daily life of Coed Talylan, help on the farm and in the woods, learn about sustainability, experience a new culture and meet new people.
We ask for 6 hours per day for 5 days per week in exchange for full board and accommodation.
We are members of WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms)
This is a worldwide movement to link visitors (WWOOFers) with organic farmers, promote a cultural and educational exchange, and build a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices. WWOOF started 50 years ago and has grown from a small group in the 1970’s to a worldwide community of hundreds of thousands of people today.
WWOOF is organised nationally so to join, visit the WWOOF UK website here:
After joining you will be able to find Coed Talylan among a number of hosts around the UK.
We are all former WWOOF volunteers and now pleased to be WWOOF hosts. As such we are careful to follow their guidelines and understand what makes it giving to be a volunteer. WWOOF’s guidelines can be read in full here:
Similarly, we expect volunteers to also adhere to the requirements of joining WWOOF as a volunteer (although you might not actually be a member) which can be read here:
If you are not (yet) a WWOOF member you can apply to volunteer at Coed Taylan directly with us by filling out the volunteer booking form here:
