Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Coed Talylan Land Trust (CTLT) brings together practical experience in land management, horticulture, building, governance, and community-led ecological work. Collectively, the board is responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and long-term stewardship of the land and the Trust’s charitable aims.
James Scrivens
James Scrivens is Head Grower and Land Manager at Coed Talylan. He leads the mushroom cultivation programme and drives the Farming with Fungi and Refungium projects. James has a strong interest in co-operative governance and organisational design and currently acts as Secretary of the CTLT.
Sara Tommerup
Sara Tommerup holds an MSc in Environmental Management and works at the intersection of sustainability, regeneration, and practical skills. She is an experienced builder specialising in natural materials and teaches the Women’s Carpentry course at Coed Talylan, bringing hands-on construction knowledge to the Trust’s work.
John Cooper
John Cooper is a practitioner of low-impact living and an environmental campaigner with a scientific background. While taking a background role in CTLT, he remains committed to the Trust’s multi-OPD co-operative vision and to supporting models of land use that prioritise ecological integrity, community benefit, and long-term resilience.
Will Hall
Will Hall is a professional horticulturist and market gardener with experience across research-led and commercial growing systems. He holds a PhD in Meteorology from the University of Bristol and previously worked as Head Grower at Forbidden Fruit and Veg Market Garden on the Badminton Estate. He is currently establishing a new market garden at Lords Park Farm for Glasbren, bringing technical growing expertise and systems thinking to the board.
Lynne Davis
Lynne Davis brings earth-centred leadership, strategy, and facilitation to organisations and movements. Over the past 15 years she has led projects at the intersection of technology, ecology, and community, including open-source and civic tech initiatives. Alongside this work, she creates music as Sequora & the Wolf and convenes events through Sgwd yr Annwn that deepen people’s relationship with the natural world. She brings clarity, creativity, and a collaborative approach to governance and organisational development.
