The BioRegional Lab at Coed Talylan now hosts a wide range of specialist equipment, laboratory tools, and reference materials . These resources are available for use by regional fungi groups, community organisations, and local partners to support biodiversity monitoring, field studies, and ecological training. By making this equipment accessible, we aim to build regional capacity for fungal and ecological research, conservation, and education. The lab provides microscopes, genetic analysis tools, chemical reagents, and study guides to enable high-quality fieldwork and identification. By sharing these resources across the region, we hope to lower barriers for community groups and citizen scientists to engage in nature recovery work, strengthen ecological networks, and contribute data to national biodiversity efforts.
