What: Help us HempBrick our House

Come and help us hempcrete with us from 16th Oct 2nd 2023.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team of volunteers who can help us from Oct 16th to 24th help complete the walls of our self build eco home.
Hempcrete is a cast-in-place near to carbon neutral building method consisting of lime and hemp shiv that ensures great thermal performance.
We are using Hemp brick for the internal section of our walls.
This is a great opportunity to come and get some hands on practice of building with hemp bricks and have fun.
You are welcome to come for the whole period, or for part of it. We live in a beautiful woodland in the Bannau Brycheniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Wales, so lots of opportunity to experience the woodland and wonderful views of the Black Mountain and Twyi Valley.
We will feed you well with food grown on the land. There will be a shared heated yurt, and cabin for accomodation otherwise you’re wlecome to camp somwhere in the woods. Camper vans also welcome.
